The Alliancing Association of Australasia's (AAA) annual excellence awards will honour the industry's best at the AAA's National Convention in Melbourne, October 21-23, 2009.

Alain Mignot, AAA's executive director, says new award categories are included this year to reflect the depth of alliancing activity in the region and keep pace with the rapidly evolving practice.

The AAA Excellence Awards program recognises organisations, teams and individuals for their outstanding contribution to successful alliancing. It aims to encourage alliance practitioners to apply best practice and learnings as exemplified by award recipients.

The award categories are Alliance Team of Excellence in a Project Alliance, Alliance Team of Excellence in a Long Term Alliance and Outstanding Contributor to Alliancing.

The submissions deadline is July 3, 2009.
