The Preston Superbarrier is an engineered patented 1,000 mm high safety barrier handrail system with self supporting counter weight base which is quick to install and relocate. This safety barrier can be used around the perimeter of a building floor or roof during construction or maintenance to protect workers or objects falling from the building floor to the ground below.

This system does not require drilling, bolting or special tools - just one spanner. It has been hot dip galvanised to prolong its long life. The Superbarrier is placed into the self supporting counter weight base and is ready to use. Each self supporting counter weight base has eight rubber pads for superior grip. The barrier is flexible and will accommodate numerous different design combinations.

Superbarrier is highly suitable for newly poured concrete floor and can be installed as soon as one you can walk on it. It can also be used for formwork edge protection, precast façade construction, crowd or pedestrian control, social events and double up to 1,800 mm high perimeter fence. The cost can be less than half of a bolt on fence, because with Superbarrier, the labour component is almost non existent. Many bolt on fences will take say two days to erect, a similar Superbarrier edge protection will take about an hour to erect.

All Superbarrier components are less than 20 kg are offered in sizes of 2,100 mm and 800 mm long x 1,000 mm high and comply with Australian and European Standards.
