Haulotte’s Multijob MJX continuous rotation backhoe is said to be one of the most unique machines to come to Australia in many years.
HAULOTTE recently started offering its customers finance solutions in a tailored package. “We recognise that each business is unique and customers need flexibility from their equipment supplier to suit their financial, operational and administration set up. That’s why we now offer a variety of options from commercial hire purchase, to chattel mortgage, operating lease and finance lease,” said general manager, Grant Mitchell.
Working with Centrepoint Finance, Haulotte have released a brochure to detail these options. “We have created this document to help customers buy the right equipment through the right finance solution. We’re trying to be more innovative in our approach,” added Grant.
Haulotte have also introduced a two-year warranty as standard across the range, as of 1 December 2009. And for those customers that opt into a preventive maintenance inspection agreement, a three-year warranty is available.
Haulotte sees Australia as an important market for the brand. “We have looked closely at all areas of the business and sought to improve our overall service package and ultimately make life easier for our customers. To do so, we have had to review our business efficiencies brought about by relocation to a new premises and a new national spare parts warehouse.

The Multijob MJX is a fully rotational excavator and telescopic loader with four drive-steer wheels.
“All of these factors, together with the improvements we have seen with the Australian dollar, has meant that we have been able to greatly reduce our spare parts pricing across the whole range by 15 to 20 per cent. This ensures that customers whole of life costs on Haulotte equipment is as low as possible.”
Haulotte have also announced a range of new products hitting the Australian market in 2010. This includes the new Compact 14 which is an additional model to the current Compact Battery Electric Scissor lift, with a working platform height of 14,000 mm. New smaller telehandler models complement the current range by offering added flexibility.
In a first for the Australian market, Haulotte will be introducing the Multijob. “This is one of the most unique machines to come to Australia in many years,” said Grant. “The three-in-one model has been the cause of much discussion amongst some of our biggest customers who have seen the model in overseas brochures. So much so we are actually bringing one test model out to complete ADR compliance and gauge feedback from our customers.”
