The Grizzly breaker application is a good fit with the MultiJob MJX.
SANDVIK has selected Haulotte's MultiJob MJX for its Grizzly breaker application. MultiJob MJX is a continuous rotation (360 degree) backhoe loader. Sandvik has worked with Neotec to adapt the MJX to meet its specific requirements. Neotec, a French company that provides research and services to vehicle manufacturers, has strategically reoriented its activity to focus on these particular construction applications.

The versatile MultiJob MJX offers as standard: a telescopic loader, a full rotation excavator, four wheel drive and steering, quick attachment of shovel and digger sides with translation and steering on both working positions.

The Grizzly breaker application is a good fit with the MJX and is used for specific works like in a coal power station. Neotec has adapted the machine for a rail road application. The MJX Grizzly breaker will operate on a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, whatever the weather condition, to improve the flow of coal as it is unloaded from the train.

On the loader side, a wide harrow improves the flow of the coal stream towards conveyors and on the excavator side, its versatility means it accepts cutting tools or hydraulic crowbars which reduce the unrefined coal which cannot pass on conveyors. The quantity of coal handled could reach 2,200 tons per hour, which means one train every 13 minutes.
