JLG Industries has opened new premises in Perth aimed at providing Western Australian customers with support throughout the entire life cycle of their access equipment. The complex is the fourth new facility opened in Australia by JLG in the last three years. It was opened on March 16 by JLG Industries global president Craig E Paylor, who is pictured above with the company's vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Andrew Satterley.
The premises are nearly four times as large as the company's previous Western Australian branch and include a service base, replacement parts and training facilities as well as JLG sales and administrative offices. JLG is upgrading its resources in Western Australia with additional specialist staff, more mobile field service technicians, greatly increased workshop service facilities and a major overhaul of replacement parts arrangements and stock holdings.
Opening the facility marks the largest expansion of JLG's facilities in Western Australia since the company established a presence in the state 15 years ago.
