This increase allows up to 16 units to be used on the same construction site without any issues of crossover in control.

Other changes on the SC2 models include enhanced transmitter and receiving eyes with increased operating range and contactless “paddle” style joy sticks which reduce susceptibility to wear and can be replaced without opening the transmitter box.

An enhanced “Diagnostic tool” is included with every machines making servicing straightforward and it comes with an upgraded “tip-over” notification which is essential for hire companies to know when the machines have been misused. If desired the machine can even be “locked-out” if tipped over preventing possible engine damage once the machine is back in the run position.

In addition to these enhanced features the RT82SC2 still has the traditional features which have made it the most popular articulated trench roller in Australia. Such things as the Metton Liquid Moulded Resin front and rear covers which are extremely hard wearing and will not rust (unlike metal covers) and the indrum mounted exciters making the RT82SC2 the most stable machine on sale.
