Following recent elections, the Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) announced its new Board for 2009/10 comprising: John Gillespie (President); Danny Black (Vice President); Bob Davis; Malcom Smith; Albert Smith; Craig Meldrum; Stephen Lazenby; Andrew Esquilant; Marcus Ferrari; Nick Morris; Jeff Brundell.

Melbourne-based Nick Morris is a newly-elected director while Sydney-based Andrew Esquilant joined the Board recently.

John Gillespie has been re-elected by the Board as president and Danny Black has been elected as vice president for the first time. While tabling his president’s report to members at the AGM, John Gillespie thanked all the directors including those who had stepped down in the last 12 months - Mark Apthorpe, Hugh Morris and Phil Chadwick. Among CICA's achievements over the last 12 months is the 25 per cent growth of CraneSafe Green Stickers, a growth in CICA membership and strong financial results.
