AUSTRALIAN Crane and Machinery (ACM) have just launched the Panda ARC-20 articulated mobile all-terrain crane. The new design crane is a joint venture between XCMG of China and ACM.
ACM general manager, Phil Chadwick commented, "This is an updated and improved version of pick and carry crane that has been very popular within the crane, mining and construction industries. The competition in this style of crane has not been available for a number of years and by bringing the Panda onto the market we are confident that we will attract interest from many industries."
The Panda ARC-20 articulated mobile all-terrain crane has a travel speed of 80 km/h and is designed to handle a safe working load of 20t. The crane is fitted with Cummins Engines, Allison Transmissions, Meritor Axles, ZF Sub-Transmissions and Vickers Hydraulics.
